Columbia

     The materials for this project were presented to our advanced design class by Columbia Sportswear. The objective was to research Columbia's target market and find a new consumer market they have not saturated yet.

They were looking for the new "IT" girl. Is she a twenty something, or is she in her thirties? What does she like to do? What are her needs? Previous line sheets, textiles, color palettes, and specification packages were provided for our research. 

      Working with a group, we established a market segment, 'The Collegiate', a 20 year old college student, who needs athetic wear that is bright, trendy and suitable for gym and campus wear. In this project, I was responsible for compiling the mood board, technical flats, and line sheets.
